Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be keeping a low profile instead of trying to wind up Liverpool before today’s showdown in Manchester. The Norwegian and his team are in a relegation battle but the ex-United sub thinks it is wise to be making daft comments ahead of kick-off.
Solskjaer insisted it will not take Manchester United 30 years to once again win the title. The reality is they have got worse every season despite spending shed loads of money on dud players.
The last time United won the league was in 2013, since then top six has become a challenge for them not winning titles. It is not like Liverpool will need any extra motivation before running out onto the field today but they should be looking to bury this team and its manager who is a few more bad results away from the sack.
